The water-soluble film or hydro-soluble film for embroidery can be dissolved in either cold or hot water. The major advantage of this product is the ease of cleaning after embroidery is completed. Simply immerse the piece in water for a few seconds, and it will be clean, removing all residues, preserving the lightness of the piece, and preventing skin irritation during subsequent use.
Since some screen printing processes do not allow immersion in high temperatures, the cold-water solubility of this product is a significant advantage.
